About The Position

Sandoz is undergoing an exciting and transformative period as a global leader and pioneering provider of sustainable Biosimilar and Generic medicines. This role is responsible for delivering major strategic business projects for Sandoz, the CEO, and the Executive Committee (EC). The position is located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site, with a flexible hybrid working approach allowing up to 50% remote work. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation. U.S. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role, and candidates must have U.S. work authorization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 15 years of Generic Pharmaceutical Industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of executed Licensing and M&A deals.
  • Strong network connection with Health Care Companies, Private Equity, and Investment Banks.
  • Experience across several key functional areas (e.g., product development, regulatory affairs, product management, marketing, business development, legal, Finance, investment banking, etc.).
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical forecasting and competitive dynamics in the pharmaceutical industry, including financing analysis and product P&L modelling.
  • Strong People Management skills / Role model for organizational culture.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills.
  • Strategic thinking & planning.
  • Deal negotiations / creative deal structuring.
  • Enterprise thinking.
  • Highly collaborative skills across boundaries.
  • Must have U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as subject matter expert in 2-3 key domains.
  • Builds a network of subject matter experts within and outside the Sandoz organization.
  • Builds lasting strategic capabilities as part of each project to enable local teams to continue to deliver on project objectives going forward.
  • Acts as a sparring partner for EC / EC-1 members and Unit Strategy Heads / Unit Strategy members.
  • Serves as a reference to the Sandoz organization on behalf of the Head of Corporate/Unit Strategy.
  • Leads and independently owns major corporate strategy projects prioritized by Sandoz, the CEO, and the Executive Committee (e.g., Global/Unit Strategic Planning process).
  • Supports other Corporate / Unit strategy team members to drive projects successfully.
  • Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events/special case scenarios related to Sandoz products within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable).
