About The Position

Premier Research is seeking an Executive Director, Medical Affairs to join its Medical Affairs team. The role supports biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies in developing medicines, devices, and diagnostics, with a focus on Women’s Health (Obstetrics/Gynaecology). The position provides medical and scientific expertise to Premier Research projects and operational teams, contributes to business development and client engagement, and represents the company in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Requirements

Degree in Medicine.
Board certification, or equivalent, in Internal Medicine or Obstetrics/Gynaecology.
More than 15 years of drug development experience in Women’s Health (Obstetrics/Gynaecology).
Good business acumen in the CRO and drug development environment; candidates whose experience is exclusively in academia should demonstrate an appetite for client engagement and fostering positive client interactions.

Nice To Haves

Clinical or clinical research experience.
Prior or current CRO work experience.

Responsibilities

Identify and liaise with suitable Key Opinion Leaders through professional networks or feasibility assessments.
Provide scientific and medical support and guidance to operational teams across relevant Premier Research projects.
Provide medical monitoring and/or drug safety support when appropriate and requested.
Review medical and scientific data at the request of Premier Research departments, such as Clinical Trial Management and Biometrics.
Provide general and therapeutic training, including preparing training materials.
Provide expert input for requests for proposals and requests for information, including therapeutic overviews, executive summaries, patient recruitment strategies, protocol considerations, and study execution strategies.
Attend client meetings for specific proposals or general capabilities presentations as needed.
Use strategic client collaborations to expand relationships and the services offered by Premier Research.
Represent Premier Research at scientific and industry meetings, present and chair panel presentations, and contribute to peer-reviewed scientific and industry publications.
