About The Position

The Organon Indirect Procurement & Supplier Management (IPSM) Organization partners with the business to develop and execute indirect sourcing strategies, enabled by agile business processes and strong supplier performance management, to drive improved business outcomes. The Executive Director, Policy & Enablement, reporting to the Associate Vice President, Indirect Procurement & Supplier Management, will be responsible and accountable to ensure policies, and processes are compliant and optimized across IPSM and OMS PSM by aligning organizational ways of working across all Source To Settle (STS) workstreams. The Procurement Policy & Enablement organization led by the Executive Director – Procurement Policy & Enablement is accountable for cross GPSM processes, systems, and responsibilities impacting the organization including: Contract Action Team (CAT) Third-Party Risk & Compliance Supplier Diversity/ESG GPSM Policies and procedures Supplier Management Systems: GPSM Dashboard and Metrics, GPSM Systems and analytics support, GPSM SharePoint GPSM Processes: Six step sourcing process, Supplier Relationship Management, Category Strategy Review Coordination Learning and Development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Procurement or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in sourcing, quality, compliance, manufacturing, risk management.
  • Knowledge of the Procurement function including general policies and processes.
  • Experience working with Senior Leaders on Compliance, Risk Management and Procurement Process or other related procurement fields.
  • Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Action Team: Provide contract negotiation support to Indirect Procurement Category Leads leading supplier negotiations. Responsible for Contract Templates and Enhancements, contracting playbooks, CLMA and other technologies such as Syntax
  • Third-Party Risk and Compliance: Providing Third-Party Risk & Compliance governance, GPSM policy oversight, management of operations in support of sourcing, economic inclusion & supplier diversity, supplier ESG compliance, and alignment with corporate strategy and priorities.
  • Supplier Management Systems: Leading the coordination of the GPSM Dashboard and Metrics, GPSM Systems and analytics support, and GPSM SharePoint to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization
  • GPSM Policies: Ensuring GPSM policies and procedures are up to date and in compliance with Corporate Policies, driving GPSM Fit-for-Purpose policies enhancements to support the business and functions.
  • GPSM Process Ownership: Steward of core GPSM processes including the way the organization performs Supplier Relationship Management, and Category Strategy Reviews.
  • Learning and Development: Delivering the learning curriculum for the GPSM organization.
  • Stakeholder Management and Business Sponsorship: Work in a way that positively engages the support of Global Procurement partners using proactive communication skills.
