About The Position

The Executive Director, Facilities & Operations advises appropriate managing staff of short- and long-term changes necessary to keep facilities in physical compliance with regulatory demands. This role maintains documentation in proper order for state and local regulatory inspections, and develops and maintains facilities’ annual operating budgets. The position advances and enforces operational procedures and best practices, ensuring staff compliance. Additionally, the Executive Director oversees facility lease negotiations, and the payment of utilities and rent, ensuring all work areas meet quality, safety, and compliance standards. This role also ensures internal control oversight and compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding of assets, compliance with University policies and procedures, reliability of internal and external reporting, and efficiency and effectiveness of operations. This includes creating an effective control environment, conducting risk assessment, and implementing and monitoring controls. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of business and management principles.
  • Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
  • Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
  • Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others
  • Commitment to the University's core values.
