Requirements

Significant related senior management leadership experience.
Ability to collaborate and influence change across multiple areas without direct authority.
Strong understanding of business and operational planning.
Strong understanding of governance practices.
Change management experience.
Demonstrated strategic planning and corporate service leadership such as emergency planning and accommodations.
Ability to work effectively with stakeholders to manage diverse expectations and interests.
Experience leading staff.
Commitment to building strong lines of communication and trust.
Empowering teams to achieve results through performance excellence.

A related degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership, direction and coordination of transformation and initiatives across the department.
Oversee business and operational planning and reporting.
Provide oversight for agency governance related to Ministry Agencies, Boards and Commissions.
Manage ministry emergency planning and facility and accommodation planning.
Lead the development and enhancement of evaluation and process improvement initiatives across the ministry.
Contribute to the achievement of the divisional business plan and goals.
Ensure integration with other branches for overall division success.
