The Executive Director Cardiovascular Service Line provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for the full continuum of cardiovascular care across the health system, including inpatient and outpatient cardiology, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery and vascular medicine, interventional and structural cardiac programs, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular interventions, cardiac and vascular imaging, and cardiac rehabilitation. This role partners closely with physician leadership (Service Line Medical Director, often representing both cardiology and vascular/cardiac surgery), nursing leadership, and hospital administration in a dyad model to drive clinical quality, patient experience, growth, and financial performance across all sites of care. The Executive Director is accountable for translating system strategy into an integrated service line plan that spans the inpatient, ambulatory, and post-acute cardiovascular care journey across cardiology and surgical/vascular disciplines.
