About The Position
Roswell Park is seeking a strategic and innovative Executive Director, Capital Projects to lead the design, procurement, and execution of major construction and infrastructure initiatives across our campus. In this high-impact leadership role, you'll oversee a dynamic portfolio of multiple capital projects, serving in a stewardship capacity to ensure projects align with the institution's mission, operational priorities, and long-term campus goals.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar capital projects and associated budgets.
- Deep understanding of construction cost estimating and accounting.
- Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience presenting project plans, budgets, schedules, and outcomes to senior leadership, authorities having jurisdiction, and community partners.
- Proficiency with contract documents.
- Ability to foster collaboration among clinical, research, administrative, and facilities partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor staff while managing internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
- Develop procurement strategies.
- Oversee design and construction procurement processes.
- Manage contract administration.
- Ensure successful project delivery from concept through occupancy.
