In this role, you’ll oversee daily café production, retail operations and corporate catering, ensuring excellence in quality, consistency, and presentation. You’ll guide a dedicated culinary team, fostering efficiency, engagement, and continuous improvement. Your expertise in menu innovation, cost management, and client collaboration will help drive operational success and elevate the dining experience. Requirements

  • An Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • A strong culinary and catering background with a focus on attention to detail and client satisfaction.
  • Possess excellent leadership and communication skills, maintaining high culinary standards.
  • Demonstrate strong coaching and employee development skills.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment, driving creativity and excellence in the kitchen.
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily culinary operations for café dining, catering, and retail at 2 client locations.
  • Lead, train, and inspire the culinary team elevating their skills and ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and food safety.
  • Execute scratch-cooked menus that meet contract requirements and food cost targets.
  • Lead and execute conference and catering events.
  • Manage food cost, labor, and inventory while maintaining high culinary standards
  • Ensure strong food safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
