About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 1 for Lausanne Collegiate School, an Independent, Coeducational College-Placement School located in Memphis, TN. The Executive Chef 1 is responsible for overseeing daily food production, ordering, inventory management, and catering operations. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence and strong organizational skills to ensure outstanding service and satisfaction in a thriving K-12 school environment. Sodexo delivers food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools, fostering healthy learning environments and positively influencing students' well-being and performance.

Requirements

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
2 years minimum management experience
1 year work experience in food or culinary services (restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.)
Strong culinary background with demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards
Strong coaching and employee development skills
