About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for Putnam School District located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The selected candidate will have a direct impact on culinary operations as they will be responsible for culinary training and food quality across the district. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. Requirements

A strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest culinary standards
Strong coaching and employee development skills
A passion for food and innovation
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
2 years of management experience
2 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a K-12 environment is preferred

Responsibilities

Manage purchasing, inventory, menu compliance, food production, and food cost analysis across multiple sites
Oversee PrimeroEdge food management system and support menu development initiatives
Ensure compliance with Sodexo and USDA culinary standards, including recipes, food quality, and consistency
Lead and support catering operations across Putnam City Schools and neighboring K–12 accounts
Coach, mentor, and develop frontline staff while delivering strong client and customer service
Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, leveraging automated systems for inventory and operations
