The Good Eating Company is seeking a creative, open‑minded Executive Chef to join our culinary team supporting a dynamic client in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is a hands‑on, craft‑driven culinary leadership role with a direct impact on the continued growth of our business dining program. Requirements

  • Strong foundational skills across all areas of professional cookery, including sauces, butchery, garde manger, pastry, and global cuisines
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop culinary teams
  • Deep knowledge of contemporary food trends, techniques, and ingredients
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment
  • Commitment to sustainability, seasonality, and responsible sourcing
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of management experience
  • 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily culinary operations, ensuring every dish reflects exceptional craft, flavor, and presentation
  • Support menu development with fresh, seasonal, local, and globally inspired offerings
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
  • Mentor and develop culinary team members, fostering creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with the Executive Chef and hospitality leaders to deliver a seamless, guest‑focused experience
  • Contribute to recipe development, tastings, and innovation sessions that elevate the program
