Executive Chef 3
About The Position
Sodexo is looking for an Executive Chef 3 to join their team at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida. This role focuses on retail excellence, attention to detail, and driving sustainable growth, supporting expansion efforts including a new patient tower opening in 2026 and a full kitchen renovation and expansion. The Executive Chef 3 is a highly visible culinary role responsible for directing and participating in all retail, catering, patient meals, and food production processes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional culinary management experience, a proven track record with creative and current culinary trends, high-end catering experience, and excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Energetic, polished culinary professional with high-end catering and dining experience and a passion for culinary arts.
- A strong production culinary background, ideally in an up-scale restaurant/retail/catering environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading and engaging a culinary team and exceptional human resource and supervisory/management skillset.
- Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends.
- Ability to effectively communicate to multiple audiences and develop strong relationships with customers.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, food cost management, purchasing, inventory and labor management concepts.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of Management Experience.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Responsibilities
- Have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product.
- Possess culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.
- Manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.
- Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
