About The Position

The Good Eating Company is seeking a high-caliber Executive Catering Chef for our premier Corporate Services client in New York, NY. You will oversee the culinary operations across this law firm. This role offers immense creative freedom to curate and execute elevated, high-end menus for Breakfast, Lunch and all Catering Events service, all while ensuring every dish is delivered with absolute perfection to meet the standards of our client. The ideal candidate must be highly flexible and ready to accommodate diverse customer requests. We are looking for a visionary leader with a background in fine dining or high-end catering who can partner closely with the client to create memorable, world-class dining experiences in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of strategic purchasing, inventory, and food cost analysis.
  • Use expertise in production forecasting to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
  • Ensure every plate meets client expectations, acting as the guardian of the culinary experience from recipes to food quality.
  • Develop and motivate the team to embrace culinary innovations and stay ahead of global food trends.
  • Maintain an inspection-ready kitchen by upholding rigorous safety and sanitation standards.
  • Leverage automated inventory and management systems to drive efficiency in the kitchen.
