About The Position

As an Administrative Business Partner, you're at the heart of your team's business operations and activities and the soul that keeps your team moving forward. You anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest Google products and services. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team's projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions. The DevAI and Core Labs engineering organization operates in an Artificial Intelligence environment. As the Executive Business Partner, you are a partner for the team. You will anticipate needs while keeping the calendar, resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise to ensure your Vice President and their teams deliver initiatives for Google. You are up to date with Google products and services. You also use that knowledge to support your team's projects. In addition to being organized and problem-solving, you possess the business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions. Requirements

  • 5 years of administrative experience in a technology company or multinational environment working on administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, facilities coordination, etc.).

  • Experience collaborating with and leading a team of Executive Business Partners, resolving operational and administrative issues across the combined portfolio as a team.
  • Experience supporting an artificial intelligence engineering organization with changing roadmaps and needs.
  • Experience experimenting and learning new artificial intelligence tools to improve work efficiency.
  • Knowledge of process, project, and program management theory and practices, and the ability to apply them when solving operational issues.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a range of people and job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks (e.g., managing calendars, booking travel, and scheduling facilities or equipment).
  • Lead and manage projects (e.g., normal review cadence, social and innovation and morale boosting events, and coordinating logistics for speaking engagements).
  • Build efficiency and responsiveness into existing operations, and help define new operational strategies or best practices.
  • Manage and coordinate corporate events.
  • Mentor and support new team members.
