Blue River Technology is based in Santa Clara, CA. Summary We’re hiring an executive assistant (EA) to support key members of our leadership team. This role requires close attention to detail, excellent communication skills, analytical problem-solving, and keen emotional intelligence to coordinate executive activity across a fast-growing organization. The EA will work closely with the Chief of Staff to maximize the effectiveness of the executive team and the organization as a whole. The ideal candidate will delight in bringing simplicity to settings with high volumes of information and noise, and be eager to expand their impact on the work we do at Blue River Technology and how we do it. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; humanities backgrounds welcome as well.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading an administrative function for at least one executive.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and discreetly with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple incoming requests, managing time and tasks effectively without compromising essential day-to-day activities.
  • High initiative and drive with the ability to work independently.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Exercises good judgment and demonstrable trustworthiness with sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in using Slack and the entirety of G Suite.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Manage an active and complex calendar of appointments, monitor and respond to emails, organize travel and agendas, and complete expense reports for multiple executives in varying time zones.
  • Anticipate, identify, and implement more effective and efficient ways to manage administrative tasks, with professionalism and care, to scale your efforts and support the full executive team.
  • Partner with other executive assistants within a large and diverse organization in travel and event coordination.
  • Own high-impact projects at the direction of the Chief of Staff while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proactively prioritize deadlines and conflicting needs, handling resource and schedule conflicts expeditiously with minimal oversight.
  • Oversee the coordination and tactical planning for events and meetings, including preparing meeting content and presentation materials.
  • Communicate professionally and directly on behalf of executives with their direct reports and colleagues, as well as with customers and external partners, on matters related to the organization.
