About The Position

The Executive Assistant - Executive Office provides high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to c-suite executives in the Executive Office, and serves as a trusted partner in managing c-suite executive priorities and business operations. Performs work directly related to the management and general business operations of the organization and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. Is expected to operate with minimal supervision, represent c-suite executive leadership, and act with authority on delegated matters affecting organizational effectiveness. Exercises delegated authority to make decisions, recommendations, and commitments on behalf of c-suite executive leadership regarding scheduling, communications, and operational matters of significance. Develops, implements, and refines administrative systems, workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in handling confidential, sensitive, and complex matters involving c-suite executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Has authority to deviate from established practices when appropriate and escalate matters of significance to c-suite executive leadership as needed. Acts as an authorized representative of c-suite executive leadership, interacting with senior leaders, governing bodies, external partners and stakeholders. Leads or coordinates special projects and initiatives on behalf of c-suite executive leadership, including planning, tracking milestones, and ensuring successful outcomes. Independently manages assignments that support strategic and operational objectives across departments or functional areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
  • 3+ years supporting C-suite executives (CEO, CAO, CSO, CFO, COO, CIO, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certification.
  • Professional Administrative Certificate of Excellence (PACE) certification.
  • Project Management training/certification (e.g., CAPM or equivalent).
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification.
