The American Express Corporate Affairs & Communications (CA&C) team is a strategic enterprise function that enhances and protects the American Express brand through public relations, enterprise messaging, social media and content, colleague communications, corporate sustainability (CS/ESG), public policy, and issues and crisis management. The Executive Assistant is a key member of the CA&C leadership team, providing high‑level administrative, operational, and strategic support to three Vice Presidents and one Senior Vice President. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities across multiple senior leaders and their organizations. The executives supported oversee multiple critical enterprise functions, including Corporate Communications, Corporate Sustainability / ESG, Enterprise Strategy, Public Policy, Issues & Crisis Communications, GCO, and Control Management. The work is fast‑paced, highly visible, and involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the enterprise and external partners.
