About The Position

NIKE, Inc. is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the VP, Government & Public Affairs and Public Policy Officer. This role is a key administrative partner to the VP, managing administrative processes for a high-performing team with significant internal and external stakeholders. The position involves handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment, anticipating the VP's needs, and acting as a trusted thought partner. The Government & Public Affairs (GPA) team is responsible for global public policy to support business priorities, engaging with government officials, external stakeholders, and community groups at state, local, and international levels.

Requirements

  • A keen relationship-builder with discernment for navigating sensitive issues and appreciating cultural differences.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to take projects from concept to successful completion.

  • Advanced working knowledge of personal computers, including MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Keynote, Word, Excel, and Co-Pilot/AI.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic calendar management, including scheduling meetings across time zones and cultures.
  • Coordinate complex travel itineraries, including domestic and international business travel, preparing detailed itineraries, and gathering necessary documents.
  • Process Visa applications, passport renewals, and other required documents.
  • Produce and/or edit high-quality PowerPoint or Keynote presentations, emails, and Word document memos.
  • Draft and edit communications, manage distribution lists and Slack channels, and involve appropriate stakeholders.
  • Own weekly Leadership Meetings by providing an agenda and taking and distributing meeting notes.
  • Track, submit, and pre-review expense reports for policy compliance and accuracy.
  • Process invoices and manage vendor relationships.
  • Plan and coordinate team meetings and events of varying sizes and complexity, including venue selection, catering, expense tracking, agenda creation, material preparation, A/V resource planning, and coordinating communications.
  • Act as a confidential sounding board, confidant, and conduit to keep the executive well-informed and facilitate decision-making.
  • Coach and guide 5 global Sr. Administrative Assistants, leading administrative staff meetings, sharing information, monitoring workload, and supporting development.
  • Support broader team events, projects, activations, or other deliverables as needed.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information/materials.
  • Represent the VP, the function, and the company internally and externally.
  • Manage the GPA budget.
