About The Position

Fusion is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to directly support the CEO of a growing international and domestic federal contracting firm. This role serves as a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring operational efficiency, executive preparedness, and seamless coordination across business functions. The ideal candidate is professional, discreet, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting federal government contracts and international operations. This position requires strong judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. This is an in-office position based in Easton, Maryland.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives (federal contracting environment preferred)
  • Experience working in or with federal government contracting organizations
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required clearances (if applicable)

  • Experience supporting international operations
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition processes and compliance environments
  • Experience coordinating executive travel for overseas government-related engagements

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the CEO’s complex calendar, scheduling domestic and international meetings across multiple time zones
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including international itineraries, secure facilities access, visas, and logistics
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, agendas, and executive correspondence
  • Screen calls, emails, and meeting requests, ensuring strategic prioritization
  • Track action items and ensure follow-through on key initiatives
  • Assist in preparation of federal contract documentation, proposals, and executive summaries
  • Coordinate executive-level communications with government agencies, partners, and subcontractors
  • Maintain confidential files and records in accordance with federal compliance standards
  • Support board meetings, leadership meetings, and high-level client engagements
  • Monitor deadlines related to federal contracting requirements and deliverables
  • Act as liaison between the CEO and internal departments
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and internal organizational efforts
  • Support special projects, corporate reporting, and growth initiatives
  • Maintain discretion when handling sensitive company and government information
