About The Position

Expedition Medicines is seeking a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to support four senior leaders: the Chief Scientific Officer (Biology), Chief Scientific Officer (Chemistry), Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer. This role is central to keeping the leadership team running smoothly and the office operating effectively day to day. The Executive Assistant will be a trusted partner to the executives, managing calendars and logistics, supporting onboarding, and helping foster a positive, connected company culture. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scientific startup environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a startup, biotech, or fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, discreet, and trusted with sensitive information.
  • Proactive and resourceful — you anticipate needs, take initiative, and exhibit extreme ownership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, collaborative working style; experience collaborating with other EAs on shared tasks.
  • Proficient in Outlook calendaring, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Slack, and Notion.
  • Able to work on-site in the Cambridge office most days to support executives and the team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars for multiple executives, prioritizing meetings and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas when needed, and ensure clear follow-ups.
  • Draft, edit, and manage internal and external communications on behalf of executives.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries and expense reporting.
  • Support ad hoc logistical needs for leadership as they arise.
  • Support day-to-day office operations, helping ensure the office runs smoothly and is welcoming for employees and visitors.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors on office-related needs (supplies, space coordination, events).
  • Support onboarding of new hires, including scheduling, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring a smooth first-day experience.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new employees as they get oriented to the office and company.
  • Help build and maintain a strong company culture by coordinating team events, celebrations, and offsites.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, contributing to an inclusive, collaborative, and positive work environment.
