About The Position

dormakaba is seeking an Executive Assistant based in Indianapolis, IN. The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting our senior commercial leaders — enabling them to focus on customers, growth, and their teams by reducing the complexity behind them. You will own the operating cadence of the commercial business, plan and run customer events that reflect the dormakaba standard, and will keep the leadership team a step ahead by reading around corners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience supporting senior leaders
  • 3+ years of progressive Executive Assistant experience supporting Vice President through Executive Vice President-level leaders, ideally within a multinational, commercial, or revenue-focused environment
  • Experience planning and hosting customer events, leadership offsites, town halls, all-hands meetings, and recognition events end-to-end
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • An approachable presence with a proactive, service ‑ driven commitment to exceeding customer expectations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a multinational or matrixed organization
  • Experience managing company expenses via Concur and Truist (this role serves as backup administrator)
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management platforms such as Salesforce and the cadences of a commercial business
  • Experience supporting customer-facing leaders during sales cycles, key account meetings, and trade shows

Responsibilities

  • Plan & Host: customer events, customer visits, leadership offsites, sales kickoffs, trade shows, and recognition events from end-to-end — agenda, venue, hospitality, and the details that shape the customer's impression of dormakaba
  • Coordinate: roundtables, town halls, and all-hands meetings for the commercial organization — logistics, content flow, and follow-through — so leaders connect with their teams clearly and consistently
  • Manage: complex domestic and international travel across multiple time zones; resolve disruptions in real time so leaders stay productive on the road
  • Prepare: correspondence, briefings, and presentations for executive committee, leadership team meetings, and key customer engagements — at the standard of polish those audiences expect
  • Cover: the team — partner closely with the second Executive Assistant and the Corporate Services Manager, including backup Concur administration, so the team always operates with full bench strength
