About The Position

PTC is seeking a highly skilled and thoughtful Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to our Chief People Officer (CPO). This is a high-impact, highly visible role where you’ll play a critical part in enabling the success of a new executive leader and the broader People Leadership team. You’ll be more than an administrative expert—you’ll act as a strategic connector, problem-solver, and ambassador of the People organization. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring exceptional judgment and discretion, and enjoy helping leaders operate at their best, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to PTC’s people-first culture.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders, preferably within People, HR, Talent, or Corporate Functions, in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how People organizations operate, including exposure to talent, total rewards, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, change management, and workforce planning cycles.
  • Comfortable operating deeply in the details—from sensitive employee-related matters to leadership logistics—while maintaining a strategic perspective on People priorities and business impact.
  • Highly adaptable and steady under pressure; able to pivot quickly as People priorities evolve in response to business needs, employee experience, or leadership transitions.
  • Exceptional judgment and discretion, with proven experience handling confidential HR, employee, and executive matters, and a clear understanding of the trust required when supporting People leadership.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills; able to build trusted relationships across HR Centers of Excellence, Legal, Finance, and senior business leaders.
  • Extensive experience managing complex domestic and international travel, including itineraries that support global People leaders and distributed teams.
  • Passionate about the Executive Assistant profession as a long-term career, with a genuine interest in partnering closely with leaders who shape culture, talent, and ways of working.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with comfort preparing People-related materials such as leadership decks, org updates, and confidential documentation.
  • Thoughtful, proactive, and people-centered—bringing care, professionalism, and empathy to every interaction.
  • Organized, pragmatic, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Aligned with People leadership values: trust, candor, inclusion, accountability, and a healthy sense of humor.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience supporting senior leaders, ideally within People, HR, Talent, or closely related corporate functions, in dynamic and evolving organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted, day-to-day partner to the Chief People Officer, enabling her to focus on relationship-building, strategy, and driving high-impact people initiatives.
  • Manage a dynamic and evolving calendar with care, thoughtfulness, and an understanding of priorities, context, and tradeoffs.
  • Anticipate needs, surface potential challenges early, and adapt quickly as priorities shift.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring logistics, materials, and technology support productive, engaging conversations.
  • Build agendas for weekly People Leadership meetings by partnering with leaders across the team and proactively identifying important topics.
  • Attend select meetings to capture decisions, track action items, and help ensure clarity, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Understand the organization and the business well enough to ensure the right voices are included in the right conversations.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel with a focus on efficiency, experience, and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports and purchase orders accurately, on time, and within budget guidelines.
  • Manage purchase requisitions and PO tracking for the CPO and People team, including confidential and sensitive requests.
  • Provide support on budget-related work, People initiatives, and special projects tied to talent, culture, and ways of working.
  • Help continuously improve how the People team shares information—ensuring materials are clear, meaningful, and useful.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve workflows, and enable the team to focus on the work that matters most.
