About The Position

The Executive Assistant performs administrative and executive-level tasks to ensure day-to-day office automation and daily administrative functions for the Capability Program Executive, Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Sensors (CPE IEW&S) Program Management Offices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 6 years, with at least 2 years of experience supporting a Flag Officer or SES as an Executive Assistant
  • Associate's Degree w/ 10 years of experience or 12 years of experience in place of a degree
  • Ability to work with government-provided software packages (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Manages the principals' calendars to include coordinating and scheduling meetings and events.
  • Coordinates and completes travel arrangements (Defense Travel System-DTS).
  • Prepares correspondence to include Star and SES notes and certificates of appreciation.
  • Receives and reviews read-aheads and other documentation for PEO and SES. Ensures all correspondence is in accordance with AR 25-50 before signature. Provides support for ceremonies, conferences, meetings, visits, and office calls. In addition, must maintain all records and security requests.

  • Assist personnel in preparing travel authorizations in support of official temporary duty (TDY) utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Input personnel time and attendance records into the Automated Time and Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS)
  • Maintain and file personnel time and attendance records
  • Database and spreadsheet development/maintenance
  • Administrative data management, analysis, and research
  • Maintain administrative access to the Manpower Information Retrieval and Reporting System (MIRARS).
