About The Position

We are seeking experienced, highly proactive Executive Assistants to partner with our Group Vice Presidents (GVPs). This is a high-impact role where you will operate as a trusted advisor—enabling executive effectiveness, shaping priorities, and driving coordination across a complex, fast-paced organization. As a key partner to the GVP, you will anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and bring structure and clarity to a dynamic environment. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the broader administrative team to ensure seamless coordination across the portfolio. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned Executive Assistant who thrives in a high-accountability environment, exercises sound judgment, and consistently delivers high-quality work. You will be empowered to think ahead, influence outcomes, and play a key role in how leadership operates day-to-day—not just support it. This opportunity is open to both internal and external applicants. This role supports leadership across two of EPCOR’s core operations: Electricity Distribution & Transmission (EDTI) and Water Services (EWS)—both essential to delivering safe, reliable services to the communities we serve. Electricity Distribution & Transmission (EDTI) is responsible for delivering safe, reliable power to homes and businesses across Edmonton. This includes operating and maintaining the electrical distribution and transmission network, supporting system reliability, enabling growth, and ensuring the infrastructure that powers the city remains resilient and efficient. Water Services (EWS) provides water, wastewater, and drainage services to nearly one million people in Edmonton and surrounding communities. This includes designing, building, operating, and maintaining critical infrastructure that supports public health, environmental sustainability, and community growth. While distinct in function, both business units are united by a shared focus on operational excellence, safety, and delivering essential services that communities rely on every day. Together, they represent the backbone of EPCOR’s commitment to providing life-sustaining utilities across the region.
