About The Position

C.H. Robinson is currently seeking a highly polished and proactive Executive Assistant to support the President of North America Surface Transportation (NAST) and various members of his leadership team. This role is important to enabling executive effectiveness through high-level administrative support and strategic partnership. Critical to your success is your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, demonstrating exceptional judgment and discretion, and bringing a strong sense of ownership to everything you do. As a key liaison to internal and external stakeholders, you will serve as an extension of leadership and play a pivotal role in ensuring priorities are executed flawlessly. This position requires the candidate to be onsite at our Eden Prairie offices with occasional flexibility to work from home.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 4 years’ progressive executive administration experience as an executive assistant supporting Vice Presidents, Presidents or Chief levels

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and optimizing executive time. Proactively anticipate needs, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between senior leaders and internal/external stakeholders. Manage and triage executive communications, including prioritizing key actions, and ensuring timely follow-up. Represent leadership with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Plan and execute detailed travel arrangements and itineraries. Coordinate meetings, leadership sessions, and events—including logistics, materials, and catering—ensuring a high-quality, organized experience.
  • Develop and refine presentations and materials for board, leadership, customer, and departmental meetings. Maintain organized, accessible document and record-keeping systems, continuously improving processes for efficiency and usability.
  • Support cross-functional projects and leadership initiatives by tracking timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables are met with high quality. Maintain visibility to key priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups using collaboration tools.
  • Manage executive expenses and reporting, including preparation, review, and submission of expense reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and integrity. Actively contribute to the administrative team, providing back-up support and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
