A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Grade: Professional 307 Pay Range: $66,300.00 - $99,500.00 Job Description The Executive Assistant, E3, reports to executive leaders at the Vice President level and is critical in supporting senior leadership administrative functions over large departments or functional areas. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a wide range of tasks with discretion and professionalism. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and must exercise a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy as a representative of the university. Description We are seeking an experienced executive assistant to perform a wide range of communication, administrative, and support activities for the Vice President of University Technology at WGU. The selected candidate will gain valuable insight and experience in both administrative experience as well as understanding how technology is developed and managed at the nation's most innovative higher education institution.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • 4 years of related experience
  • Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements.
  • Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager.

Responsibilities

  • Provide calendar support, including scheduling and coordinating meetings
  • Provide meeting management services, including agenda preparation, note taking, and follow up
  • Draft and edit reports, email, and other communications
  • Assist in preparing project and budget reports
  • Create presentations, diagrams, spreadsheets, and other documentation
  • Provide other miscellaneous support as needed
  • Keep the VP advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring proper follow-up
  • Coordinate on- and off-site meetings and events
  • Conduct research and assist on various projects as assigned by the VP
  • Prepare and submit expense reports
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Organize team building activities
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Act as a point of contact across departments and WGU partners
  • Support VP and team with other duties as needed
