This role goes beyond traditional administrative work — serving as a trusted advisor and operational partner who enables the CEO to focus on what matters most. The Executive Assistant team at iRhythm plays a critical role in connecting priorities, anticipating needs, and ensuring execution at speed and scale. The EA to the CEO operates at the center of the enterprise, balancing precision in execution with strategic foresight, supporting Board, executive leadership, and external stakeholder alignment, communication, and deliverable management. Our ideal EA to the CEO is a strategic thinker, master organizer, and strong communicator who thrives in dynamic environments and sees around corners to make things happen.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience supporting senior executives at the C-Suite level with direct CEO and Board support strongly preferred (public company experience required).
  • Proven ability to operate with discretion, foresight, and judgment in high-visibility or confidential contexts (including Board, investor and market sensitive matters).
  • Strategic mindset: Connect details to strategy; anticipate needs before they surface.
  • Operational mastery: Drive clarity through structure: calendars, deliverables, and meeting hygiene. Experience with Project Management is strongly preferred.
  • Communications excellence: Clear, concise, and professional writing; can represent leadership voice effectively.
  • Execution agility: Thrives on complexity; excels at multitasking and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Relationship builder: Collaborative, trustworthy, and culturally attuned, builds strong partnerships across all levels.
  • Digital fluency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, SAP Concur, and AI tools (e.g., Copilot).
  • Integrity & discretion: Handles sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Experience working in a virtual or highly remote environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and Chief of Staff helping manage priorities, align calendars to enterprisecritical milestones (Board, investor, regulatory, and leadership cadence), and create space for high-impact work.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively address issues before they arise, ensuring the CEO stays ahead of key decisions and commitments.
  • Act as an extension of the CEO, applying sound judgment to triage issues, elevating decisions, and protecting the CEO’s time and focus.
  • Draft and edit correspondence that reflect the voice and intent of the CEO.
  • Represent the CEO and iRhythm with professionalism and discretion in all internal and external interactions including Board members, investors, customers, and partners.
  • Foster clear, consistent communication channels between leadership and teams to enable transparency, clarity, and trust.
  • Manage sensitive, confidential, and time‑critical matters with exceptional judgment and discretion.
  • Manage highly complex and dynamic calendars, travel, and event logistics with a focus on strategic prioritization and efficiency.
  • Plan and execute Board meetings, executive offsites, and leadership team events.
  • Use tools such as Teams Planner, SAP Concur, and CoPilot/AI to streamline administrative tasks and manage deliverables efficiently.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance cross-functional efficiency and reduce administrative friction.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for the CEO Office, ensuring alignment across the Chief of Staff, Legal, Finance, People, and Communications teams.
  • Build trusted relationships across iRhythm to facilitate collaboration and seamless information flow.
  • Partner with other Executive Assistants to establish consistent standards, share best practices, and coordinate cross-functional support.
  • Act as a connector across teams, ensuring day-to-day execution aligns with enterprise goals and leadership priorities.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the EA Center of Excellence, standardizing templates, tools, and playbooks (agenda, minutes, RACI, board prep).
  • Lead or participate in EA community initiatives (AI enablement, budgeting best practices, event standardization).
  • Model adaptability, curiosity, and professional growth — setting the standard for executive partnership at the highest level and helping shape the next generation of strategic EAs at iRhythm.
