About The Position

The Executive Administrative Assistant to the President works alongside the President and their Chief of Staff, providing high-level clerical support, performing a variety of administrative/secretarial duties and skilled tasks, to help further the vision, mission, and dreams of Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries.

Requirements

  • An Associate's degree is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of Executive Administration strongly desired
  • Detailed oriented and professional
  • Extremely proficient with computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and reliable
  • Flexible and adaptable in various situations
  • Ability to improve processes and get things done in efficient manner
  • Ability to multitask
  • Superior communications and organizational skills
  • Ability to keep absolute and complete confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Christian character expressed in a commitment to serve as a positive role model

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Knowledge of Southern Baptist churches and culture preferred
  • Knowledge of Non-Profit organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides high-level administrative support to President
  • Responsible for ensuring an efficient communication system and process for internal and external constituents
  • Responsible for writing/generating letters, making and receiving calls on President's behalf, scheduling appointments and maintaining President's calendar
  • Manages commitments ensuring tracking and meeting deadlines, and particularly following up on tasks to ensure follow-through
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions
  • Ensures President has all information needed to be able to connect with appropriate people
  • Maintains relationship with Advancement team for needs of volunteers, tours, events, and church relations
  • Supports Connie Maxwell goals
  • Works toward achieving yearly "Gold Star" list
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
