The Montessori School of Raleigh (MSR) & Carolina Preparatory Academy (Carolina Prep) is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Head of School, with a start date in June 2026. This role requires providing high-level administrative and strategic support, exercising exceptional discretion, sound judgment, and strong communication skills. The Executive Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the Head of School and serving as a key liaison to the Board of Trustees and the Leadership Team. The school welcomes applications from highly qualified individuals with experience working with non-profit boards and/or serving in an executive assistant role within an independent school or similarly mission-driven organization. Established in 1974, MSR & Carolina Prep is a vibrant and exceptional independent Montessori and International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in the Triangle area, serving over 400 students aged 15 months through 18 years. Its Montessori programs for Toddler - Upper Elementary students (15 months - grade 6) are located on a 10-acre campus in North Raleigh, comprising five buildings in a child-centered, village-like setting surrounded by wetlands and protected forest. The International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma programmes for middle and high school students (grades 6 - 12) are housed on an expansive 40-acre wooded campus in the Brier Creek neighborhood of Durham.
