About The Position

Power Public Schools is launching in August 2027 with a bold, ambitious vision. The Executive Director is building a school from the ground up while managing relationships with the board, community partners, external advisors, and a rapidly growing team. Right now, too much of her time goes to scheduling, inboxes, administrative detail, and follow-through that someone else should own. This role exists to take that weight off — so the Executive Director can stay on the few things only she can do: instructional leadership, culture-building, and strategy. This is a role for someone who can bring greater structure, leverage, and operational discipline to a fast-moving founder’s office. You’ll strengthen the systems, rhythms, and decision-support that help the Founder stay focused on the highest-value work, while ensuring priorities move forward with consistency and follow-through. It’s ideal for someone who is proactive, highly discerning, and able to operate as a trusted extension of a leader — anticipating needs, improving how work gets done, and creating order without adding bureaucracy. This is a high-ownership, high-trust role working directly alongside the Executive Director to protect her time, reduce friction, and keep the school launch moving forward with clarity and care.
