War on the RocksWashington, DC
$100,000 - $130,000

About The Position

Ryan Evans is the founder and CEO of both War on the Rocks (WOTR, warontherocks.com), the world-renowned publication and podcast on military and international affairs, and Bedrock Knowledge, Inc. • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across multiple organizations or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with standard productivity and communications platforms.
  • Comfort in environments where priorities shift quickly and the ability to stay organized under ambiguity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a founder through a company growth phase or period of organizational change.
  • Experience supporting executives across two or more distinct organizations simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Prepare detailed travel briefs with meeting context, contact information, and relevant background.
  • Anticipate and resolve logistical issues.
