About The Position

This role involves providing comprehensive support to the CEO, managing their schedule, communications, and projects. The Executive Assistant will act as a gatekeeper, ensuring the CEO's time is used effectively and priorities are managed strategically. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. The ideal candidate will be energized by variety, grounded under pressure, and committed to making the CEO as effective as possible, operating at the center of meaningful organizational leadership in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Mid-career professional with experience, maturity, and judgment for high-visibility executive support.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, including drafting executive correspondence, creating concise briefings, and ghostwriting in a senior leader’s voice while maintaining their tone, intent, and credibility.
  • Proactive and anticipatory nature; identifying executive needs before they are asked and bringing solutions.
  • Ability to lead the calendar and inbox, not be led by them.
  • Highly tech-savvy with strong proficiency in productivity and organizational tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Genuine aptitude for leveraging technology to work smarter.
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly and use them well.
  • Strong information-gathering and synthesis skills; ability to distill complex data, long meetings, or dense documents into clear, digestible insights.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively when everything feels urgent.
  • Ability to pivot without losing footing.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Operating with the highest degree of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Chief of Staff experience or aspirations in that direction are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing the week ahead, confirming logistics, and pre-loading necessary materials for the CEO.
  • Managing the CEO's calendar, including scheduling meetings, making judgment calls on time allocation, sequencing commitments, and protecting space for focused work.
  • Adjusting schedules quickly and communicating changes professionally when priorities shift.
  • Drafting emails and correspondence in the CEO's voice.
  • Preparing talking points and executive summaries for upcoming engagements.
  • Synthesizing information from multiple sources into concise briefings.
  • Coordinating with staff across the organization to track follow-through on action items.
  • Gathering materials for board meetings.
  • Ensuring cross-functional commitments are being met.
  • Serving as a point of contact for board members and external partners, handling relationships with discretion and care.
  • Researching and compiling background materials for strategic meetings.
  • Tracking the status of organizational priorities and preparing summaries for the CEO.
  • Handling confidential information with care.
  • Representing the executive office with consistency.
  • Bringing a positive, resourceful, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to all tasks.
