About The Position

The Legal Executive Assistant provides high‑level administrative, organizational, and project support to the Executive Vice President & General Counsel. This role ensures the smooth operation of daily legal workflows, manages sensitive information with discretion, and serves as a key point of coordination between the General Counsel, internal teams, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and e‑signature platforms.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience supporting attorneys, executives, or legal departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving, deadline‑driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of corporate governance processes preferred.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred; legal administrative training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the General Counsel’s calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and prepare briefing materials for internal and external engagements.
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal correspondence, memoranda, presentations, and reports.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
  • Assist with contract intake, routing, signature processes, and tracking.
  • Prepare agendas, compile materials, and track action items for legal team meetings, board meetings, and cross‑departmental sessions.
  • Help maintain corporate records, support policy updates, assist with regulatory filings, and coordinate compliance training logistics.
  • Conduct basic legal and business research, compile background information, and prepare summaries for the General Counsel.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for internal stakeholders, outside counsel, regulators, and vendors.
  • Manage incoming inquiries and prioritize issues requiring the General Counsel ’s attention.
  • Process invoices, manage budgets and expense reports, coordinate document signatures, and support department-wide administrative needs.
