About The Position

Under the direction of the Cabinet Member, provides complex and confidential support requiring discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance. The primary duties and responsibilities involve the oversight of Administrator’s office operations. Typical responsibilities include: coordinating the Administrator’s calendars, arranging meetings and events; assisting in budget preparation; processing paperwork; providing assistance to students, staff, and the public; and representing the Administrator’s office on committees and meetings. The Executive Assistant is distinguished from other Administrative support positions by its responsibility for providing high-level support to a Cabinet Member, and is focused on a specific department or area. Assignments require a high degree of confidentiality and involve interactions with multiple levels of staff and contacts outside the area of assignment/campus. The primary location for this position is at the PCC Sylvania Campus.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
  • Demonstrated success anticipating the needs of executive level support
  • Demonstrated success using AI as an integrated tool
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience working within an ERP system e.g. Ellucian, Workday, Peoplesoft, etc.
