About The Position

The Executive Assistant to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) serves as a trusted partner within a regulated financial services organization. This role operates with a high degree of discretion and provides executive-level administrative support in a cybersecurity environment. The position requires sound judgment, strict confidentiality, and the ability to operate effectively amid regulatory obligations, board engagement, and incident-driven priorities. The individual must manage competing priorities while maintaining professionalism across executive leadership, regulators, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and appropriately handle communications and materials containing cybersecurity, information technology, and risk management concepts.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical principles regarding data and information obtained as part of professional duties.
  • Experience in regulated financial services environments such as banking or broker-dealer organizations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively support organizational change.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines, and to follow through on goals, manage expectations appropriately, and use the firm’s resources efficiently.
  • Associate’s degree or combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience as an executive assistant or administrative professional.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Jira.
  • Experience with corporate expense management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, including preparation and editing of correspondence, communications, presentations, and executive materials.
  • Manage and maintain complex executive calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements, ensuring alignment with shifting business and risk priorities.
  • Record and distribute accurate meeting minutes, as well as track and follow up on action items to ensure timely execution.
  • Support expense management, budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor coordination in accordance with firm policies.
  • Manage highly sensitive documents, presentations, and files with strict confidentiality and secure handling practices.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion consistent with executive-level access, including exposure to confidential cybersecurity, regulatory, and incident-related matters.
