About The Position

As an Executive Assistant to the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will serve as a trusted strategic partner, enabling the effectiveness of the organization’s senior-most security leader. This role requires exceptional judgment, executive presence, and the ability to manage complex, highly sensitive priorities in a fast-paced and confidential environment. The Executive Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the deputy CISO, supporting enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives, and facilitating communication and coordination across technology, risk, legal, and business leadership. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable operating at the highest levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably at the C-suite or equivalent level.
  • Proven experience managing complex calendars, competing priorities, and high-visibility engagements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive-level polish.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and collaboration platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a CISO, CIO, CTO, or other senior technology or risk leader.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools and resources
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, information security, risk management, or technology operations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a large, matrixed enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting board, audit committee, or regulatory-facing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the deputy CISO, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and domestic and international travel planning.
  • Anticipate executive needs, proactively manage shifting priorities, and ensure the deputy CISO is fully prepared for all engagements.
  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper, managing access, information flow, and time on behalf of deputy CISO.
  • Track action items, risks, and deadlines to ensure timely execution of security and risk priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative and operational processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Partner closely with technology, legal, compliance, risk, privacy, and business leaders to coordinate activities and communications.
  • Support enterprise cybersecurity initiatives by facilitating coordination across teams and leadership levels.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across the organization to enable effective collaboration.
  • Handle highly sensitive, confidential, and privileged information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making within established guidelines to support the deputy CISO’s effectiveness.
