About The Position

The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), a leading nonprofit research organization based in Washington, DC, seeks a full-time Executive and Engagement Assistant. At ACEEE, your work delivers practical, cost-effective solutions that help communities nationwide save energy and reduce emissions. Together we’re advancing the efficient use of energy, equitably and at scale, on a path to cut U.S. energy use in half by 2050. ACEEE is turning today’s energy challenges into opportunities for stronger communities, a more resilient economy, and a livable climate for all. We are a nonprofit research organization that develops practical, cost-effective ways to advance energy efficiency. Our work has helped shape landmark policies, catalyze clean technologies, and make energy efficiency that nation’s most productive energy resource. As electricity demand rises due to electric vehicles, data centers, and new manufacturing, energy efficiency is one of the most practical, affordable, and immediate tools to cut emissions, keep costs down, and make sure the clean energy transition benefits everyone, especially low-income and historically underserved communities. ACEEE’s vision is a clean energy future that secures a healthy planet and better lives for all. ACEEE’s organizational culture is collaborative and team-oriented with a strong commitment to our mission and an emphasis on results. We strive to help all staff develop professionally and to make ACEEE a flexible, fulfilling, and enjoyable place to work.
