About The Position

The Naval Power Performance Excellence Team is seeking a highly capable Executive Administrator / Sr. Coordinator to provide administrative support, along with meaningful project management and operational execution across key initiatives. This position supports the Executive Director of Naval Power Performance Excellence and plays a critical role across the team’s three strategic pillars: CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence), RLPM (Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management), and Naval Power Munitions Acceleration. This position will blend administrative excellence with project coordination and execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, thrives in ambiguity, drives results, and serves as a trusted partner to leadership while helping the team operate at a high level.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience providing administrative support.
  • Prior experience with scheduling and coordinating meetings, event planning, travel arrangements and/or preparing reports.
  • Prior experience interfacing with senior level leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones, demonstrating flexibility, prioritization, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Coordinate travel arrangements; complete expense reporting accurately and on time
  • Plan and execute meetings and events, including logistics such as conference rooms, A/V, catering, and security coordination
  • Provide customer-facing support, including escorting visitors and coordinating on-site engagements
  • Support facilities and office operations, including supply management, workspace coordination, and service requests
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security protocols in all activities
  • Build strong working relationships across leadership, administrative teams, and functional partners
  • Partners with team leads to plan, track, and execute key initiatives across CORE, RLPM, and Munitions Acceleration efforts
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution of milestones
  • Assist in process improvement efforts, identifying inefficiencies and helping implement scalable solutions
  • Support preparation for executive reviews, including status reporting, data consolidation, and action tracking
  • Drive follow-ups on action items, ensuring closure and visibility across stakeholders
  • Help manage priorities across multiple initiatives, balancing competing demands with minimal supervision
