About The Position

Vantage Point Behavioral Health Hospital is currently seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the CEO. The ideal candidate will have administrative experience in the medical field, with a strong emphasis on credentialing processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. A significant portion of this role will involve credentialing responsibilities, including maintaining provider records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating documentation. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to facility leadership to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the hospital.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Administrative experience in the medical field.
  • Strong emphasis on credentialing processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
  • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
  • Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.
  • May responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing.
  • May direct and lead the work of others.
  • May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.
  • Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed.
  • Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls.
  • May cover the reception desk when required.
  • Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
