BEI is looking to fill a contract position at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD. This position is on Telework 3-4 days and in office 1-2 days. The role involves providing support for various procurement and administrative tasks, managing senior executive staff schedules, coordinating meeting materials, and preparing various documents such as travel requests, professional service orders, and official memoranda. The position requires maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing administrative and procedural support, and working with staff on policy implementation. Key responsibilities include coordinating meetings and workshops, updating shared calendars and databases, researching information, producing a wide range of documents, and acting as a point of contact for management and administrative staff. The role also involves developing and maintaining administrative databases, processing equipment and office supply requests, serving as a liaison between leadership and staff, and providing guidance on Federal guidelines and procedures. The position requires preparing SOPs, staying updated on regulations, and liaising with other administrative groups. It also involves providing information on policies for government travelers and explaining property policies. The role serves as a resource for staff regarding established policy, disseminates information, and develops/maintains documentation for personnel, budget, and travel actions. Spreadsheet formatting for data analysis, maintaining tracking systems, assembling and summarizing data, and maintaining databases for tracking and reporting are also key functions. The position involves preparing inventory and purchase requests, assisting with property management, serving as an alternate property custodian, and processing requisitions for office supplies. It requires overseeing the management and control of federal property, preparing and tracking purchase requests, and coordinating with management on special projects. The role involves coordinating staff responses to data calls, providing direct administrative support, managing special projects, drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, and working independently on research and problem-solving. It also includes gathering and analyzing information on processes and programs, advising on technology needs, assisting with SharePoint sites, and evaluating program operations to identify and solve problems.
