About The Position

We are looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant who is as resourceful as they are organized. Reporting directly to the VP of Agronomy, you will manage the tracking of logistics, pricing, and reporting. We need a tenacious communicator who doesn't wait for instructions when a problem arises but instead finds a solution and presents the results. If you are a master of multitasking who prides yourself on staying two steps ahead, you’ll find a home here. The primary objective is to provide organization and information to allow quick and informed decisions, and to maintain detail and analyze information so it can be interpreted to a higher degree quickly and accurately.

Requirements

  • Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office suite programs, including Word, Excel, and the ability to master ERP systems.
  • Analytical Resourcefulness: Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently with quality.
  • Adaptive Communication: Ability to communicate with precision and diplomacy across all levels—from providing the VP with high-level briefs to coordinating urgent logistics with field operations staff.
  • Prioritization Under Pressure: Exceptional organizational skills with the "mental gears" to switch between tasks rapidly. You must be able to maintain accuracy and a calm demeanor during high-volume seasonal peaks.
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Agronomy, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent high-level administrative experience.

  • Update Sales Reports
  • Update Contract Reports
  • Generate Agronomy Compliance Reports
  • Prepare Year End reports to Manufacturers
  • Manage Seed Ordering
  • Manage Seed Logistics
  • Process Seed Returns
  • Process Seed Dumps
  • Oversee Test Plots
  • Manage Pricing delivery, including Price sheets
  • Maintain Pricing in spreadsheet
  • Manage Control (Company System) including Item Codes, Work Order Set Up, Price Variance Reports, and Pricing Input
  • Act as a knowledge resource for employees
  • Track enhancements needed for the agronomy department and help communicate needs
  • Manage Fertilizer Blanket Purchase Orders
  • Manage Chemical Blanket Purchase Orders
  • Manage Chemical logistics, including Bulk orders and Delivery to locations
  • Gather information from sales and operation locations and build reports based on them, including Forecasts and Scouting Expectations
  • Set up meetings with attendees and accommodations
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests
