About The Position

Represents the Board, CEO and AOD Federal Credit Union in a professional manner to members, staff and vendors cultivating a strong working relationship and trust among the staff and member. Maintains confidentiality and uses a high degree of discretion. Works closely with the Senior Management Team to provide administrative support as needed. Complies Board Package in an accurately and timely manner ensuring the Board Members receive the Board Package in the time set by policy. Submits necessary SEG documentation to NCUA and prepare for board approval. Ensures Board Room is ready for Monthly and Special Board Meetings. Attends the board meeting and takes minutes. Types board minutes and forwarded to Chairman for review in time stated in policy. Types minutes of ALCO committee meetings and special board meetings. Ensures proper reviews and signatures are obtained. Prepares correspondence, reports, excel spreadsheets and power point presentation as needed by Board or CEO Plans and coordinates annual Strategic Planning Session attended by the Board and Senior Management. Coordinates Board Members, CEO and employee travel arrangements. Maintains calendar of events for the Board and CEO. Ensures RSVP's are sent in a timely manner and forward reminders to all attending. Reviews and answers mail and phone inquiries determining course of action. Routes correspondence or calls to appropriate parties for resolution and follows up to ensure completion. Serve as Scholarship Program coordinator overseeing the application process including contracting area schools informing them of scholarship program, receiving applications, complies applications information for board review, contacts scholarship winners and coordinates with college to make scholarship payment Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of similar or related experience.
  • A two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
  • Supports and applies AOD Federal Credit Union Mission, Vison and Organizational Values with both internal and external members.
  • Provides comprehensive support services to the Board of Directors, CEO, Supervisory Committee, Credit Union employees and business partners.
  • Maintains confidentiality, professional work environment and appearance, and uses a high degree of discretion.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Performs job functions efficiently, effectively, and accurately in accordance with established policies, procedures and Credit Union standards.
  • Set up and maintains control of comprehensive executive files, contracts and records, insuring their confidentiality where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate reliability by minimizing unscheduled absences and late arrivals.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by assisting others.
  • Foster teamwork within your work group by adhering to AOD's core values.
  • Professionally demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
