This position involves performing professional work providing teaching and/or training services to students with disabilities in a school setting. The role requires developing and implementing instructional strategies, creating lesson plans aligned with standards and IEP goals, and providing differentiated instruction for functional academic and daily living skills, social competence, self-management, self-advocacy, and community/vocational skills. The teacher will also serve as a case manager, supervise instructional assistants, collaborate with related service personnel, and communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and community partners. Adherence to all federal, state, and division mandates related to IEP development and special education procedures is essential.
