About The Position

Moss Solar is hiring an Excavator Operator to support its solar projects at the field project site at 5595 N Canoe Creek Rd, Kenansville, Florida 34739. The role involves safely operating an excavator and performing related site work and general labor outdoors in varying weather conditions. Pay is $35–$40 per hour. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience operating excavators.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an excavator on solar project sites.
• Perform site grading, trenching, finish grading, and material movement as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Assist with general labor duties, including material handling and site cleanup, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain clear communication with site leadership and crew members to support efficient operations.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
