About The Position

Branch's Civil Division is seeking an experienced, safety-oriented Excavator Operator. The role operates power shovels with a bucket capacity greater than ½ cubic yard, including track or rubber-tired machines and Gradall or wrist-o-twist equipment. The position is full-time and typically involves 40 or more hours per week. The employee must be available on-call during early and late hours to address delays, bad weather, and emergencies at the job site.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of excavator operating experience.
• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Nice To Haves

• DOT experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Grade to line and grade.
• Service equipment and make normal operating adjustments as needed.
• Operate track or rubber-tired equipment, including Gradall or wrist-o-twist type equipment.
• Complete minor repairs as needed.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning.
