About The Position

As an Examiner you will be an integral part of our CBN manufacturing team, visually inspecting securely printed documents and identifying print imperfections that fall outside of our quality standards. The work is vitally important as it ensures the quality and authenticity of national currencies, passports, driver’s licenses, and other secure documents that CBN produces for governments around the world.

• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to pass a colour-blindness test.
• Ability to bend, lift/carry 25 lbs. on a regular basis, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and perform repetitive work.
• Ability to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, 12-hour shifts).
• Ability to obtain/maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect printed documents (currency, passports, driver’s licenses, tax stamps, etc.) and identify any flaws such as colour variations or print imperfections.
• Flag any document flaws that fall outside of established quality standards to the Production Supervisor for review.
• Count printed work (sheets, books, cards) quickly and accurately to ensure the number of documents printed matches the number expected.
