About The Position

ServiceLink, a top provider in the mortgage services industry, is seeking an individual with a solid work history in examining and abstracting title to join their team as an Examiner. This role will primarily focus on Preliminary Judicial Report title examination for the state of Ohio. The ideal candidate will be very detail-oriented, love researching real estate title reports, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be driven to meet tight deadlines. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.

Requirements

  • Prior title examination/search experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Typing/Data Entry skills, minimum 55 wpm with 97% accuracy
  • Prior title examination/search experience
  • Proficiency with computers, software programs and technology
  • Knowledge of real estate terminology
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Process and review search packages from vendors and internal searchers for accuracy
  • Collect real estate tax data from county websites
  • Enter information from real estate documents into ServiceLink’s Title Production System to compose Preliminary Judicial Reports that focus on the state of Ohio, but could extend to multiple states with other related products
  • Meet company production and accuracy metrics
  • Review Ohio-based real estate title reports pursuant to company guidelines for approval or rejection
  • Review multi-state real estate title reports pursuant to company guidelines, as needed
  • Research and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate individual records and logs
  • Review all documentation for accuracy
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable State requirements
  • Assist in working with an offshore production team as needed
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a timely manner
  • Review work-in-progress reports to ensure completion
  • Maintain open communication with other team members, offshore production groups, and team leader
  • Maintain proficiency with ServiceLink operating systems and internal search tools
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Meet minimum production goals and quality metrics as set by management
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
