About The Position

Under direction, act as chaperone during examination and IVF monitoring. Conveys a positive image of the physician's practice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills, deals well with sensitive issues.
• Must be a responsible individual and present with a neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the re-stocking of phlebotomy room and exam rooms, recovery and O.R. room, Deliver and pick-up instruments to and from Central Sterile Supply.
• Assist with the flow of patients; direct patient to correct exam room, instruct patient in preparation and return to exam room with physician to chaperone exam or ultrasound.
• Escorts patients to examination and O.R. room
• Takes notes and documentation as requested by physician.
• Transports specimens and semen analysis collection samples to laboratories.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
• Prepare room between patients; any necessary cleaning and preparation of ultrasound for next procedure and exam table.
• Prepare ultrasound probe for examination; apply ultrasound gel to probe; apply probe cover with appropriate lubricant.
• Responsible for preparation of exam room prior to procedure. Clean and prepare exam table for patient.
• Stamp and sign either chart or back of cycle sheet indicating name and date following the chaperoning of the procedure.
