About The Position

The EWP Yard Associate safely and accurately handles engineered wood products by receiving, cutting, staging, and loading materials according to customer specifications. This physically demanding outdoor role involves operating forklifts and power tools, measuring materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting high-quality customer deliveries. The associate works in varying weather conditions and is expected to maintain a strong commitment to safety and product quality.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to and over 75 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors and endure extended exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
Satisfactory result on a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Receive, store, pull, and stage engineered wood products accurately and safely using forklifts and manual material-handling techniques.
Use cutting tools, including chainsaws and circular saws, and tape measures to prepare engineered wood product job packages according to specifications.
Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and report or dispose of damaged products as needed.
Maintain clean, dry, and organized outdoor storage areas to help preserve product quality in varying weather conditions.
Assist with loading and unloading materials and support team members with daily yard operations.
Follow safety procedures while performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds and working outdoors for extended periods.
