About The Position

Our employees design, integrate, and test the world’s next generation communication and electronic warfare systems for the United States DoW and international customers. You will be among the brightest minds, working on the aerospace and defense industry’s most difficult problems. Our products provide critical mission capabilities to address the ever-evolving challenges and threats to our nation’s security and the war fighter. We put our customers first – exemplified by our mission: “We Protect Those Who Protect Us®.” Sound like a team you want to be a part of? Come build your career with us. Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. We welcome all those who have big ideas, crave innovation, want to drive fielding velocity and have the passion to bring the warfighter home safe. We are seeking systems engineers experienced in modeling and simulation environments to develop, build, and work on the world’s most advanced electromagnetic spectrum operations systems – detecting, identifying, locating, and countering threats for joint forces and international aircrew. We develop highly sophisticated digital Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and we are looking for motivated systems engineers to join cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams developing and supporting next generation systems. This is an opportunity to be at the cutting edge of the ES Sector “Accelerate” imperative! We are searching for an Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer. In this job, you will: Perform modeling and simulation for the conceptual design of an EW system to predict system level performance at the algorithm and the hardware level. Assist the team in performance model development of EW systems to be incorporated into a modeling & simulation framework. Perform analyses against system performance requirements to verify compliance and/or make recommendations about proposed requirements changes. Assist the team in determining the functional architecture / framework of EW system performance models. Build a strong linkage between the actual hardware/emulators and performance models. Validate work against real and simulated data – making corrections for non-ideal data artifacts. Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop performance models with right-sized fidelity. Support program gates such as preliminary design review, critical design review, and technical interchange meetings. Assist in the preparation of presentations and documents. Brief internal stakeholders, internal subject matter experts, and potentially customers. Build collaborative relationships with key leaders and peers, both internally and externally, across the organization.
